To start the season, the Western Plains Junior High Bobcat A-Squad Boys traveled to Macksville on Nov. 10. The Bobcats fell, 45-17.
On Nov. 12, they traveled to Claflin. Claflin came out on top, winning 49-21.
The Bobcats hosted Damar in Bazine on Nov. 16. The Junior Cats couldn’t close their opponents out, though, losing 45-21.
In Kinsley on Nov. 19, the Bobcats lost 38-19.
Ingalls came to The Bobcat Nation on Nov. 23, during which the Bobcats earned their first win of the season. They downed Ingalls, 42-22.
Coming off the win and hosting LaCrosse at home Dec. 1, the Bobcats took a step backward. They lost, 38-20.
Against county-rival Ness City on Dec. 3, the Bobcats got edged out, losing 30-27.
Rounding out the first half of the season on Dec. 17 at Victoria, the Cats lost, 49-24.
