On Tuesday, the Western Plains High School Bobcats basketball teams made the journey to St. John to take on the St. John High School Tigers.

Both the Lady Bobcats and the Bobcat Boys were defeated. The girls lost 78-16, and the boys fell 79-22.

For the girls, the only scorers were junior Britny Pfannenstiel with 11 points and junior Beth Lutters with four.

For the boys, seniors Shane Corsair and Eric Dysinger led the way with nine each. Juniors Chase Rein and Joel Hernandez each had two.

On Friday both teams will travel to Dighton to take on the Dighton High School Hornets.
