On Tuesday the Western Plains High School Bobcat Boys hosted the Tigers from Pawnee Heights High School.
The Bobcats kept the game close in every way except how the scoreboard conveyed. The Tigers won, 63-44.
However, the Cats did play hard, and one Bobcat had a career-best game.
Junior Chase Rein put up 20 points off of six three-pointers and one two-pointer.
Senior Shane Corsiar had the second-highest point total for the night with 15, and senior Eric Dysinger added seven of his own.
To round out the scoring, junior Joel Hernandez contributed two points.
On Friday WPHS will travel to Logan for basketball action. There will be no Junior Varsity games, and Varsity action will begin at 6 p.m.
