WPHS seniors finish school year
Today is the last day for the Western Plains High School senior class of 2010.
We here at The Nation would like to wish them all luck, and remind all of you out there that the Commencement Ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday in the gymnasium at WPHS in Ransom.
Bobcat artists do well at show
Last month Western Plains High School art students showcased their work at the Central Prairie League art show competition at Barton County Community College in Great Bend.
Several students had success. Most notably, junior Shelby Miller received Best of Show Honors for two-dimensional art. She was awarded a cash prize for winning.
