Tuesday night the Western Plains High School Lady Bobcats traveled to Ness City High School in Ness City to take on the inner-county rival Eagles. It was the opening round of regional play for the Lady Cats. A win would have put them one step closer to a sub-state berth.

Western Plains High School played host to an inner-county rivalry Tuesday night as the Bobcats hosted rival Ness City High School.
The Lady Cats were trounced by the Eagles, 45-13.
