The Western Plains High School Bobcat Track and Field squads started their season Tuesday at the Ellis High School Invitational in Ellis.
The boys, coached by Travis Schafer, took eighth place in the invitational with a total score of six. The girls, coached by Pat Flax, took seventh with a total score of 20 points.
